"How can I become involved with Transition House?"

Volunteers are the extra hands and hearts that keep Transition House operating. Volunteers man our board of directors and help out with a wide variety of ongoing and one-time activities:

  • Volunteers can help with children's activities, household maintenance, yard maintenance, administrative tasks, and new projects.
  • They share their expertise with our clients through our monthly life skills meetings or they serve as mentors to our clients.
  • They pick up donated items like food from local farmers’ markets, furniture and household items.

Please help Transition House continue to make a difference.

For more information call  404.815.1535  or email  info@transition-house.org.

Support Housing and Relapse Prevention
Some volunteers choose to help with one-time tasks like gardening or home repairs. Others make longer term commitments, serving as members of our board or working on ongoing projects.
