Text Box: There's a place for you at Transition House. You can provide vital support by donating your time and talents at Transition House. There are as many volunteer opportunities as there are people who want to share. However, the most important benefit of being a volunteer is the satisfaction of helping others. Whether it's a warm hello, a friendly face or a helping hand, just knowing that you made a difference in someone's life makes it all worthwhile. Transition House relies heavily on the community for support of our mission. Our board of directors is made up completely of volunteers that lend their expertise to Transition House and govern our overall activities. Volunteer help out in various capacities within the program, serving as life skills leaders, helping out with home maintenance and repair, working with our clients in job readiness programs and mentoring individuals.
