Text Box: Transition House is a non-profit organization 501( c) (3), which depends upon support from our community to offer our programs. Please consider making a contribution as part of your annual giving plan, to commemorate a loved one or in honor of a special occasion. Demands for service has increased and in response, we’ve doubled our capacity to serve veterans. Our program with the VA Medical Center, Decatur now houses up to 82 veterans on any given night in safe, supportive homes throughout the metro area. In addition, we continue to work with the courts in the metro area to move petty drug offenders into treatment centers like ours rather than more costly jails Your generosity can help more individuals and families in their act of recovery designed to rebuild their lives during their recovery. Donations of any size is appreciated, and every donation makes a difference. Gifts of cash, check or money orders are a easy convenient way to help our programs, operations and growth run in an efficient manner. Contributing to Transition House’s Annual Fundraiser, helps our VA program. Also helps sustain growth and operations of the programs and services it provides to our men and women suffering from disease of alcohol and/ or drugs. Many employers offer matching programs.
