Transition House is a state approved non-profit organization 501 ( c) (3) residential aftercare program which serves Veteran and Non-Veteran Adults, who are homeless, incarcerated, and addicted to alcohol and/ or drugs. By providing basic needs, fostering recovery and supporting individual endeavors towards advancement, Transition House, Inc helps regenerate a sense of purpose in the lives of the men and women we serve. We promote their progression into an independent and interdependent, clean and sober life in the mainstream society.

Transition House’s structured, drug and alcohol-free environment includes:

Ø  Certified AOD Addiction Counselors	Ø  Life Skills Training
Ø  Supportive Recovery Services	Ø  Professional, Dedicated Staff
Ø  Savings Account Program	Ø  Free Utilities
Ø  Weekly, Formal Counseling Sessions	Ø  Supplemental Food

Men and women are eligible to enter the program if they are verifiably homeless by HUD guidelines and have abstained from alcohol and / or drugs for at least 30 days. Transition House relies on assistance from volunteers, corporations, foundations and government agencies to continue our important work.
